Farm, Forge, & Family

In the agricultural district of Hillsborough, Woodcrest Farm & Forge invites community members of all ages to connect. Allen and Chris Green founded Woodcrest in 1992 as a small-scale family production and educational farm, sharing blacksmithing and traditional crafts. Today, their son Dan, along with his wife Liza and their two children, Arlo and Willa, carries the farm forward and continues its legacy. While dairy and meat production have been scaled back, Woodcrest has evolved into a vibrant hub for homeschooling and blacksmithing workshops, welcoming learners of all ages.

At Woodcrest, everyone is family, from the animals that roam the pasture to the many returning visitors who gather there. The farm’s lively and welcoming spirit is infectious. Thank you to the Green family for allowing me to share the light and laughter you bring to so many.
